Chris Rivers
Director of Operations
Mr. Rivers is ALC's new Director of Operations. As such, he is responsible for overseeing core business and operational development functions that lead to a successful operation and performance of all of ALC's major contracts. His core competencies include planning and scheduling, regulatory compliance, supply chain management, operations and process reengineering, start-up and turnaround operations, and problem solving and change management.
Mr. Rivers has extensive experience in the fields of contracting and security, which serve as the foundation for his post as Director of Operations. Along these lines, prior to joining ALC, Mr. Rivers performed duties as a staff coordinator and security manager for several Defense contractors that furnished services similar to those provided by ALC.
Perhaps more significant than his extensive experience in operations is Mr. Rivers' impressive military record. While serving as a member of the Marine Corps, Mr. Rivers' field of expertise was intelligence analysis and language cryptology. These disciplines helped him perform at optimal levels during several military operations as well as countless joint readiness exercises throughout the Middle East and other points throughout the Americas.
Mr. Rivers is a graduate of the National Cryptologic School at Fort Meade, MD, and has completed numerous courses at the Marine Corps Institute, and the US Navy E-Learning School. He has successfully completed the Facility Security Officer Program Management Course at the Defense Security Service Institute and is currently completing his BA in Humanities at University of Maryland.
