Since 2007, Christopher Rivers has been responsible for core business and operational development oversight. Successful performance on ALC's major contracts are thanks to Mr. Rivers' core competencies: planning and scheduling, regulatory compliance, supply chain management, operations and process reengineering, start-up and turnaround operations, problem solving and change management. Prior to joining ALC, Mr. Rivers performed duties as a staff coordinator and security manager for other defense contractors in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. However, most impressive was his service to the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Rivers' military career encompassed intelligence analysis, intelligence reporting and language cryptology. These disciplines prepared him to perform optimally during several military operations and joint readiness exercises throughout the Middle East and the Americas.
He graduated from the National Cryptologic School, the Marine Corps Institute, and the US Navy E-Learning School. He completed the Facility Security Officer Program Management Course (Defense Security Service Institute) in 2006 and has achieved the status of Green Belt (2010) in Six Sigma Certification. His avocation is organizing ALC's team spirit (running, biking, kayaking) in support of the national chapter of Wounded Warrior Project Fund.
