David Pishioneri
Human Resources Representative
David Pishioneri grew up in Rockville, Maryland and graduated from Frostburg State University in 2006 with a degree in Human Resource Management and a minor in Economics. Mr. Pishioneri was President of Frostburg State's Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Upon graduation, he worked as an HR Specialist for the United States Department of Labor (DOL). He served on the Executive Secretary's Honor Awards Committee and conducted Exit Surveys in order to improve DOL's retention, HR practices, and supervisor/employee relations. Mr. Pishioneri later accepted the challenge of sole Recruiting Coordinator for a mid-sized consulting firm where he managed a team of recruiters through the entire HR cycle: postings, interviews, background checks, offer letters, and employee tracking system database.
His education and experience prepared Mr. Pishioneri very well for his critical and challenging role as ALC's Senior HR Representative. Responsible for 350 full-time employees and more than 900 subcontractors, he manages ALC employee benefits, leave procedures, employee orientation, policy, procedures, development, implementation, and event planning.
Mr. Pishioneri is working towards a certificate as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and is finishing his Master's in Business Administration.
