Arabic Linguist

AllWorld Language Consultant (ALC) is a consulting firm that is currently seeking a professional Arabic linguist that will be working for the Host Nation Coordination Cell, commanded by an O-6 Full Colonel. The exposure of the job would include the opportunity to support any number of Generals and other Dignitaries.

This position will require the linguist to deploy to Qatar for a period of one year, with the option to renew.

Position requirements are as follows:

• Active Secret Clearance (MUST ALREADY HAVE A CLEARANCE)
• Passing DLPT or ALTA language test scores
• Ability to summarize time sensitive items
• Translation of written documents from the Target language into English
• Ability to provide translation of general, technical documents, formatting, proofreading, quality control, editing and data entry
• Ability to analyze and process large amounts of material for important information

Compensation:

Competitive salary. ALC will also provide full health care coverage through Aetna international health care systems for the linguist while deployed. 12 vacation days are given on this contract along with 9 authorized government holidays.
