AllWorld Language Consultants, Inc. (ALC) is a consulting firm that provides a vast array of technical and professional services such as: translation, interpretation, transcription, Title III intercept, multi-media production, training, and intelligence support. ALC, Inc. was established in 1994 and within a few years, the company developed into a single source for multiple-language needs, both for the U.S. Government and private enterprises alike.

ALC is currently seeking an experienced Program Manager II to support our Operations Department. The primary responsibility of the Program Manager II is to execute one or more simultaneous contracts to ensure that forward mobility is achieved through the fulfillment of requirements on contracts awarded to the Company.

Program Manager II Position Overview

Position Responsibilities:

  • Plans, implements and evaluates each assigned contract(s), administers program budgets with administrative oversight, coordinates resources to enhance existing programs, tracks contract(s) against schedule, budget and objectives, monitors budget expenditures and ensures that any/all assigned contract(s) are operating within the parameters of the contractual obligations and/or limitations.
  • Analyzes policies and procedures to improve program efficiency and effectiveness, develops and implements recovery plans for unanticipated eventualities. Recommends new processes and leads efforts to improve existing processes to improve quality, attends all meetings as required.
  • Supervises assigned personnel employed to support contract assigned, ensures personnel decisions are adhering to international, federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations in partnership with the HR department, resolves conflict amongst linguists.
  • Personnel Management; coaching, skill assessments, career planning, counseling, disciplinary action, performance evaluations, scheduling and timesheets (vacation, etc.)
  • Reports status updates and contractual performance to supervisor and affected offices (HR, Security, Finance) on a regular basis and executive staff on an as needed basis.
  • Participates as needed in special department projects and all other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or related field preferred- but can be substituted with a combination three to five years of proven work experience
  • Previous program management experience in government contracting preferred but may be substituted with previous program management experience
  • Previous recruiting experience is preferred
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Government Security Clearance at Secret level or higher dependent upon need of assigned contract(s)
  • Requires effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans
  • Maintains confidentiality
  • Strong leadership skills and staff development capability
  • The ability to analyze administrative, personnel and organizational concerns and identify appropriate solutions
  • The ability to understand, track, and question activities in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products
